Female Genital Mutilation

When I learned about this practice, I was in shock!
I believe one of the most crudest ones is the Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a cultural practice that started in Africa approximately 2000 years ago. It’s so sad to know that this practice still going up to these days. I believe another important issue is that it’s a cultural practice done by women to other women and some people in these countries believe in FGM.
Unless, the United Nations can create some international laws about this issue, maybe like this practice is not mandatory or, the rights to make the decision whether it will be done at the hospital or the all fashion way on the tree, or maybe if they prefer to have anesthesia or not . Because unlike the male circumcision which is done in the hospital or home to a baby who can’t talk for rights; FGM are practice to young females who can express their feelings.

Honestly I don't think it should be allowed at any level, just why would a female want it done would probably be under misguided intent, whatever reason it may be.

However, after they have children the women wanted to be stitched up they way they were before.
After so long, perhaps they are used to their bodies being that way.
